To console the mourners in Zion— to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.- Isaiah 61:3
The Lord wants to facilitate an exchange. He wants to take heaviness and give you joy. He is giving garments of praise and anointing us with the oil of joy. He is giving a crown of beauty for all our ashes. For everything that has been lost, He is restoring in multiple folds. Just praise Him. Praise Him! He’s restoring your smile, and bringing back laughter! Oh, the Lord will cause you to laugh! Deep laughter that comes from deep inside your belly. You don’t have to be sad anymore, receive the garment of praise!
Thanksgiving Prompt- Dance and sing before the Lord with all your might. He will put songs on your lips. Please journal whatever you hear God say to you. Today is a memorial, and is marked in the heavens.
We aren’t praising God because we want Him to do anything for us, but I see an avalanche of blessings and testimonies being released and poured out as a result of today’s praise. I see long-standing issues being resolved. I see people being free, and the yoke of depression being broken. I see many experiencing divine provision. I see God meeting everyone at the point of their deepest need.

Ah I could not do this yesterday so I did it today . Everything the praise video God had me use to praise Him lined up with the verses of scripture He put in my heart for this morning.

I’m writing this the next day. Spent yesterday with praise on my lips and this morning I’m just filled with so much awe. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. But my heart is just so full of joy. I really do have a God who cares and I can just rest in Him. Phew, Raks, you don’t know how much this has taken so much pressure off me in this season.
