Though He slay me, I will hope in Him- Job 13:15
The foundation of constant gratitude and praise to God, is an accurate view of God.
The foundation of a life filled with praise and gratitude is unwavering trust in God.
You can train yourself to praise God always.
You can be intentional about making praise your response in every situation, regardless of how you feel. God is good always.
This is something you must settle in your heart. No matter what, God is good.
You can command yourself to praise God.
You can say to yourself, just as David did: Bless the LORD, O my soul; all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds.- Psalms 103:1-2
I want you to make a decision today, that no matter what happens, every single day of your life, you will express praise and gratitude to God.
I want you to commit to being a believer whose faith is built on the solid rock which is Christ. I want you to decide that you wouldn’t be tossed back and forth by the waves and billows of life. I want you to commit to God today, and let Him know that he will find a true worshipper whenever he gazes upon you.
It’s not easy, but it is possible and you are empowered to.
Like Habakkuk, say to the Lord today:
Though the fig tree does not bud and no fruit is on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though the sheep are cut off from the fold and no cattle are in the stalls yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!- Habakkuk 3:17-18
Gratitude is a consecration. You can learn it, and you can practice it. You can decide to live a life of gratitude.
I truly pray that like David, this will be your testimony:
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.
Thanksgiving prompt: Thank God for his word. The word of God sustains every child of God, and His word gives light. Recall times when you’ve received comfort, exhortation and direction from the word of God.
I advice that you journal your thanksgiving, it will help you engage in it more consciously, and in 50 days, you will have a record of gratitude. You can play the song below as you give thanks to God.
PS: I am led to share the sermon below for anybody who is going through pain, crisis or a tough time in general. The Lord sees you. The Lord cares. The Lord loves you.

I’m here a day later but wow. I needed to see this
I will praise the Lord at all times for He is good.
Hallelujah!
Today’s word has been my favourite (sorry day 1-5, lol)
I think it’s because the word of God is the most predominant way God leads me. So I have so many things to be thankful for as regards the word of God.
surprisingly, that scripture in Habakkuk that you used, just yesterday I read it and God used it to reroute me back to Him. And I read it in context. The fig trees represented wealth and prosperity. The olive was an economic staple, and the cattle were a source of food. So it put things in perspective.
Thank you Raks
