We Give Thanks- Day 5

I’m so thankful for all the beautiful testimonies that have been pouring in. I’m grateful that we get to express our heartfelt praise and gratitude to our wonderful God.

Worthy is the Lamb, today, always and forever and ever.

I really love the lyrics of this song. They are just so deep.

Thank you for this love, Lord
Thank you for the nail pierced hands

Thank you Jesus for the cross of calvary.

He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.- Colossians 2:14

Thank you for hanging on that tree and taking every curse that was meant for me.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.- Galatians 3:13-14

Thank you for paying the price I couldn’t pay.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.- Isaiah 53 v 5

Thank you for this gospel that we have received and believed for it is the power of God unto salvation.

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.- Romans 1:16

Thank you Jesus, because of your sacrifice I can boldly stand as a child of God.

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” - Romans 8:15

Thank you Lord because I am righteous, holy, undefiled and without blemish in your sight.

God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.- 1st Corinthians 1:13

Thank you Lord because I have been redeemed from sin and death.

Thank you Jesus for eternal life.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.- John 10:28

Thank you for your Spirit that dwells in me.

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you- John 14:16

Thank you because I am seated in heavenly places with you.

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.- Ephesians 2:6

Thank you for your intercession.

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.- Hebrews 7:25

Thank you for your constant presence. Thank you because I am never alone.

And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.- Matthew 28:20

Thank you because, in Christ, I have everything I need.

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.- 2 Peter 1:3 

Thank you for abundant life.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.- John 10:10 

Thank you because nobody can snatch me from your hands.

My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand- John 10 v 29 

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.- Jude 1 v 24 

Thanksgiving Prompt- Thank the Lord for the privilege of walking with Him. Thank Him for his word, which brings life and the eternal redemption of your soul.

I advice that you journal your thanksgiving, it will help you engage in it more consciously, and in 50 days, you will have a record of gratitude.
