We Give Thanks- Day 42

God is a waymaker. For anybody who needs the assurance, I want you to know that God is a waymaker. He is the WAY. If you need Him to make a way for you, you can rest in the assurance that He is a waymaker. I know we’re getting to the point in the year, where it’s easy to feel let down and disappointed, but the Lord wants you to know, that He is the waymaker and nothing is ever too late for Him.

Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea

and a path through the surging waters,

who brings out the chariots and horses,

the armies and warriors together,

to lie down, never to rise again;

to be extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:

“Do not call to mind the former things;

pay no attention to the things of old.

Behold, I am about to do something new;

even now it is coming. Do you not see it?

Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness

and streams in the desert.

The beasts of the field will honor Me,

the jackals and the ostriches,

because I provide water in the wilderness

and rivers in the desert,

to give drink to My chosen people.

The people I formed for Myself

will declare My praise.

Isaiah 43:16-21

Thanksgiving prompt: Praise God because He is the waymaker and He has always and will continue to make a way for you.

PS:

If you’ve had a really tough year where you experienced more pain, disappointment and failure than you expected and you’re still hurting from it, God wants to heal your heart and fix your perspective so you don’t carry pain into the new year.

It might be hard to pray about your new year, dream or set resolutions if your heart is still in a lot of pain.

But you don’t have to continue feeling that way in perpetuity.

He wants to give you wholeness.

Beauty for Ashes.

Jesus is hosting a zoom meeting on the 30th on December 30th by 10am GMT.

He will unburden you.

Come with a journal. If this isn’t for you, please send it to someone who needs it.
