God will work it out. I received some really disappointing news today. Literally, just as I was wrapping up my morning time with Jesus. I was sad, and disappointed. Really hurt in fact. You know what I’m learning though? I can be disappointed BUT still choose to trust God. I can be hurt BUT still choose to praise God. I’m learning that I don’t have to let myself sink into despair the moment things don’t go the way I expect.
Dear reader, this is for you. Whatever it is you’re going through, God will work it out. The situation will not end you. You will come out of it victorious. In fact, you are already victorious.
So even though you’re confused, feeling hopeless, not sure what’s going to happen- allow yourself trust and rest in the goodness of God. Think of every difficult situation you’ve been through, every situation you thought would end you, and you’d see that God has held you through it all.
I’m not sure I have a lot to say today, except that God can be trusted. Even when we don’t understand. Especially when we don’t understand.
One thing that helps is to be honest with God about how you feel. I told Him how I felt today, and you know what? He comforted me.
'And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” ' John 16:33

I’m reading this in the middle of crisis. I’m sure how i feel but i think i feel let down by God because how will He allow such a painful thing happen to me.
